Abdullah Güler, who came first in the competition titled ‘Best Message and Best Poster Design against Illegal and Waste in Electricity’ organized by Dicle Electricity Distribution and won an education scholarship from the company, won the Yeditepe University Plastic Arts and Painting undergraduate program with a 100 percent scholarship.
According to the written statement made by Dicle Elektrik Dağıtım AŞ, Mardin Aziz Sancar Anatolian High School student Abdullah Güler participated in the competition titled ‘Best Message and Best Poster Design against Illegal and Waste in Electricity’ organized by Dicle Elektrik due to Energy Efficiency Week.
Güler, who participated in the competition with his work titled ‘The Fugitive First Illuminates, Then Life Darkens’, came first in the competition and was entitled to receive an education scholarship of 500 lira per month from Dicle Elektrik throughout his high school education.
Abdullah Güler, whose views were included in the statement, stated that he spent the scholarship he received from Dicle Elektrik for his education, went to courses thanks to this scholarship and eventually got into the university.
Güler said, ‘With the scholarship I received, I went to painting courses and prepared for the university exam. Finally I passed the exam. I came first in the talent exams of both Çanakkale 18 Mart University and Yeditepe University. I registered to Yeditepe University, where I received a 100 percent scholarship. I am so happy. I owe my success to Dicle Elektrik’s educational scholarship. ‘Maybe I wouldn’t have been this successful without Dicle Elektrik’s scholarship.’ he said.
